Venice – Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana reopen from Saturday 11 July

‘Palazzo Grassi-Punta della Dogana’ announces the reopening of the exhibition venues from Saturday 11 July 2020.

Palazzo Grassi‘ will reopen with two exhibitions dedicated to photography. The first, ‘Le Grand Jeu’ is an unprecedented exhibition project on the work of the great photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson, conceived and coordinated by Matthieu Humery and created with the Bibliothèque Nationale de France in collaboration with the Henri Cartier-Bresson Foundation.
The rooms on the second floor of Palazzo Grassi will host “Once Upon a Dream” the monographic dedicated to the Egyptian photographer Youssef Nabil.

At ‘Punta della Dogana‘, the public will be able to visit the collective exhibition “Untitled, 2020. Three glances at today’s art” conceived by the artist Thomas Houseago with Caroline Bourgeois, curator, and Muna El Fituri, art historian. The exhibition explores the issues faced by contemporary art through the work of over 60 artists of different generations, from the early twentieth century until today.
