CCCB – Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona
The CCCB – Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona is a cultural center and exhibition venue dedicated to the most innovative forms of contemporary art, including digital art and audiovisual works, as well as to literature, cinema, theater, and themes such as mass migration, economy, and the impact of digital technologies on today’s society.

The center is located in the Raval historical district – near the MACBA museum of contemporary art – housed in an 18th-century building formerly known as Casa della Caritat (House of Charity) restored and enlarged in 1994.
Conceived as an institution open to the city and to independent artists, each year the CCCB presents a diverse program of events and activities – frequently focused on Catalan culture – which encompasses major special exhibitions, design awards, conferences, seminars, lectures, live performances, and concerts.
The CCCB, along with 4,000 square meters (43,000 square feet) of exhibition space, includes lecture halls, a theater, a media library, a shop, a restaurant, and the Mirador, a multipurpose space overlooking the heart of Barcelona.
