HN4 – Zea mays I

This limited edition print of a Maize (Zea mays) cob is made using fine-art inks and Hahnemühle 320gsm Photo Rag® Bright White matte-finish cotton paper.
It is signed and numbered by Riccardo Bianchini on the front, and supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity. Prints are sold unframed.

Limited edition prints are available in the following sizes:

40×60 cm / 16×24 inch – Edition of 20 – €400
60×90 cm / 24×35 inch – Edition of 10 – €680

This photo of a Maize cob is part of my “Human Nature” series. The series is inspired by historic botanical drawings of the 17th and 18th centuries; it features highly detailed photographs I made using a special technique that blends natural illumination with electroluminescent artificial lighting.
