The Palais Galliera is the most important fashion museum in Paris, la capitale de la mode.
The museum is housed in the neoclassical palace built in the late 19th century for the Duchess of Galliera.

The permanent collections span a period extending from the 18th century to the present day and include historical dresses that belonged to Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI, costumes of movie stars such as Audrey Hepburn as well as haute-couture creations by Dior, Balenciaga, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Paco Rabanne, Pierre Cardin, Christian Lacroix, and John Galliano, just to name a few.
Accessories, photos, and original advertising material are also featured in the Galliera museum collections. All objects are displayed through temporary exhibitions only, due to their fragility.

The museum also offers special exhibitions, workshops, and guided tours.
