The Palais Galliera is the most important fashion museum in Paris, la capitale de la mode.
The museum is housed in the neoclassical palace built in the late 19th century for the Duchess of Galliera.

The permanent collections spans from the 18th century to present days and include historical dresses belonged to Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI, costumes of movie stars such as Audrey Hepburn as well as haute-couture creations by Dior, Balenciaga, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Paco Rabanne, Pierre Cardin, Christian Lacroix and John Galliano, just to name a few.
Accessories, photos and original advertising material are also featured in the Galliera museum collections. All objects are displayed through temporary exhibitions only, due to their fragility.

The museum also offers special exhibitions, workshops and guided tours.
