Museum of Saving
The Museo del Risparmio (Museum of Saving) in Turin is, more than a traditional museum, a learning space pretty unique in its genre.
Opened in 2012, the museum originated from the desire of an Italian financial institution to offer children, students and families a simple and playful approach to economics, which is often perceived as a rather arduous matter.
The exhibition layout is well conceived and divided in five rooms presenting various themes: history of coins, financial instruments, relationship between people and money, etc. by using several exhibition techniques, including videos and film sequences.
