The MOSI, Museum of Science & Industry in Manchester is a large museum dedicated to scientific development and technology, part of the Science Museum Group network.
The museum is housed in a fascinating 19th-century listed building, formerly the Liverpool Road rail station.

The permanent exhibition of the MOSI is divided into ten galleries: Air and Space, Communication (Connecting Manchester), Electricity, Gas, Liverpool and Manchester railway, History of Manchester, Engines (Power Hall), Sewerage (Underground Manchester), Textiles and Revolution Manchester. The galleries present a rich assortment of objects, including large-scale artifacts, like aircraft, cars, locomotives, and steam machines, along with videos and interactive exhibits.

The MOSI organizes also temporary exhibitions and learning activities,  specifically oriented to children and schools. A café/restaurant and a shop are available at the museum.
A large part of the exhibition spaces is accessible to wheelchair users.
