Kirchner Museum | Davos
The Kirchner museum is an art museum located in the well-known alpine locality of Davos, in the Graubünden-Grisons Swiss canton. The museum is housed in an interesting contemporary building designed by the Swiss firm Gigon and Guyer.
The Kirchner museum is devoted to the life and work of the German expressionist artist Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, who lived in Davos from 1918 until his death. Beside the artworks of Kirchner, with a selection of pieces from the museum collection, displayed on rotation and frequently changed, the museum also offers temporary exhibitions, mainly but not exclusively dedicated to German Expressionism, as well as guided tours and workshops for children and adults.
