Fondazione Merz

Opened in 2005, the Merz Foundation in Turin houses an important collection of artworks by the Arte Povera master Mario Merz, at the same time tits supports contemporary art by organizing temporary exhibitions and cultural events.
The Foundation’s building is located in the San Paolo neighbourhood, inside a 1930s former industrial factory. The building, completely renovated, has a floor area of 3,200 square metres on three levels and also include an external space. The exposed artworks are placed, both internally and externally, and arranged so to establish a strong visual relationship with the building.
The Foundation also offers learning activities for children and guided tours for families.
