ARCAM – Amsterdam Center for Architecture

ARCAM Architectuurcentrum Amsterdam is a museum and a research center in Amsterdam dedicated to architecture and urbanism.
The center is located in Plantage the neighborhood in central Amsterdam, housed in a three-story building designed by Dutch architect René van Zuuk. The building is clad with curved zinc-coated aluminum panels.
On the lowest floor, the ARCAM building accommodates a debate/meeting space and a permanent exhibition, entitled ARCAM Panorama, which illustrates the architectural history of the city of Amsterdam from its foundation to the present day.
On the intermediate floor, which is at the street level, the entrance lobby and space for temporary exhibitions are located; while the top floor contains offices and workshops.
The ARCAM center organizes special exhibitions, debates, lectures, courses, and guided tours of the city.
