Palazzo Strozzi in Florence hosts “VISIO. Moving Images After Post-Internet”

Until 1 December 2019 Palazzo Strozzi, in Florence, hosts “VISIO. Moving Images After Post-Internet“. The exhibition is dedicated to video works by 12 under-35 international artists taking part in VISIO – European Programme on Artists Moving Images, a project promoted by Lo Schermo dell’Arte Film Festival, curated by Leonardo Bigazzi.
The show offers a panoramic vision of a generation of artists who, during the years of their education, witnessed the rise of the so-called “Post-Internet condition”.
This definition has been adopted since the end of the first decade of 2000 to describe art that could no longer avoid confronting the growing hyper-connectivity of the internet, both in conceptual and in production and distribution terms.
Artists: Rebecca Jane Arthur, Miguel Azuaga, Patrick Alan Banfield, Enar de Dios Rodríguez, Eva Giolo, Inas Halabi, Polina Kanis, Adam Kaplan, Valentina Knezževic, Agnieszka Mastalerz, Jacopo Rinaldi, Igor Simić.
