Milano Design Week | ‘we+’ presents last works at Ventura Lambrate

On the occasion of Milano Design Week, the Tokio based studio ‘we+’ presents its new intriguing works, ‘Patience’, ‘Drift’ and ‘Vestige’ at Ventura Lambrate district.

Patience | A clock which uses a human face to represent the passage of time. The eyes work in the same way as an analog clock’s hands, with the right eye indicating hours and the left eye indicating minutes. The mouth opens and closes to represent seconds.

Drift | Is a clock that expresses nothing stays the same through the use of shadows passing across sand.

Vestige | Discarded vases were digitalized using a 3D scanner, and reconstructed within clear acrylic blocks, leaving a ‘vestige’ of the original object in the new vase.

we+ is a Tokyo-based design & invention studio established in 2013 by Hokuto Ando and Toshiya Hayashi. They develop their experimental and eclectic approach to contemporary design practices for products, installations and graphics, combining unconventional materials and technology to shift perspectives. They have exhibited at international exhibitions including Milano Design Week and were invited to exhibit at Maison & Objet, Paris.
