Artistar Jewel: contemporary jewelry on view during the Milan Fashion Week 2018


From 22 until 25 February 2018, the exhibition Artistar Jewel takes place at the Palazzo Giureconsulti in Milan.

The exhibition gives an international perspective on the contemporary jewelry world, presenting the latest trends to the public. At Artistar Jewel, 170 international designers from more than 30 countries will show their artworks, unique pieces or small series, selected according to their artistic value, technical quality, and stylistic research.
Complementing the exhibition, a special section hosts the creations of three leading figures of contemporary jewelry and art: Japanese conceptual artist Yoko Ono; Belgium’s Pol Bury (1922-2005), one of the leading figures of kinetic art of the twentieth century; and French jewel and visual artist Faust Cardinali.

The participants to Artistar Jewels will also take part in a contest, whose jury of experts will assign a number of special awards; the three contest winners will have the opportunity to join for free Artistar Jewels 2019 and will be featured in a book. One young designer under 27 years old will have the chance to participate for free in a goldsmithing course held by the Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana of Milan; finally, thirty creations selected from the jury will be showcased in a traveling exhibition in prestigious european galleries and international concept stores.
