By RICCARDO BIANCHINI - September 19, 2018
From September 23, 2018, through May 5, 2019, the Cloister of Bramante in Rome hosts Dream, an exhibition in which some of the most recognized contemporary artists explore the world of dreams.

Curated by Danilo Eccher, the exhibition is the last of a trilogy dedicated to the relationship between art and emotional states which, in the past, featured two other art shows, focused on love (LOVE, Contemporary art meets amour, 2016), and enjoyment (ENJOY. Art meets amusement, 2017).
The new exhibition focused on dreaming presents a number of artworks and installations, including site-specific works.
The list of artists featured is quite remarkable, it comprises Jaume Plensa, Anselm Kiefer, Mario Merz, Giovanni Anselmo, Christian Boltanski, Doris Salcedo, Henrik Håkansson, Wolfgang Laib, Claudio Costa, Kate MccGwire, Anish Kapoor, Tsuyoshi Tane, Ryoji Ikeda, Bill Viola, Alexandra Kehayoglou, Peter Kogler, Luigi Ontani, Ettore Spalletti, Tatsuo Miyajima, and James Turrell.
In the Rome exhibition, the world of dreams – sometimes fairy-like, sometimes disquieting – takes the of the light-spotted installations of Tsuyoshi Tane, the starred cosmogonies of Anselm Kiefer, the translucent volumes of Anish Kapoor, the liquid visions of Christian Boltanski, and the entangled branches of Mario Merz, among others.
